I am a postdoctoral researcher studying plant-pathogen interactions. I joined AG Doehlemann group in 2025 after completing my PhD at Wageningen University, where I studied Avr-R interactions between potato and Synchytrium endobioticum. 

My current research focuses on effector proteins from Ustilago maydis and how they manipulate host to drive tumor formation in maize.
